Dubai-based  Luxury Closet has launched an app to complement its e-commerce platform. Luxurycloset.com is an online marketplace where pre-owned luxury items can be bought, selled and consigned at discounted prices.

The luxurycloset.com is the first of its kind in the GCC region, in terms of size, scalability and market reach. The app was created after a survey, executed by Luxury Closet, showed that a great number of customers in the region shopped from their mobile phones. The app is available on the App Store. All items bought can be shipped worldwide.

Kunal Kapoor, founder of The Luxury Closet, said: "The retail environment has shifted as a growing number of consumers seek out the most fuss-free and integrated shopping experiences. We are excited that the launch of our new mobile app will encourage stronger engagement and interaction with our customers."
